Who wants to write not just more this year, but also better?

That’s what this post is for—it contains a set of five structured writing exercises and one daily incantation (another sort of practice) that can cumulatively transform your writing, while also transforming your way of seeing and perceiving, and, in turn, your way of living, and your life.

So this truly is magic—the kind of magic we make for ourselves, with some help from a creative source we can never fully know or understand but that is there for us always, if we can only we can open ourselves to it.

The kind of magic that lets us remember who we are. Magic that reminds us we can be homesick for a dream.
