The Greening is Upon Us!
See this mama turkey! All spring we’ve been watching the male turkeys strut down our street and drag their tale feathers on the asphalt saying, “Look at me!” And now this. She is nesting in our neighbor’s garden and we see her every time we walk Frannie. She’s so tender, so alive, so dear.
What an amazing world, this green unleashing itself so uproariously. New life all around. It reminds me of a marvelous poem by Ada Limon which I’ll share later in this letter.
