The full WITD curriculum (challenges, prompts, & memos) categorized by specific intensives, genre, mood, and season so you can come back to them again and again.
Let us know if ever have suggestions (esp specific posts that you would like to see added under specific headings OR new headings you think would be useful!). This is a living document and will be continually updated and expanded.
I will take note of this. Thank you @Jeannine Ouellette and @Billy Oh for all the work you're putting in to this. BTW, putting voices to names and faces today was great on the Lit Salon live. The Toni Morrison quote is absolutely gold. Lol, felt a little intimidated being the only male, I felt like I had accidentally stumbled into my wife's all-women book club.
Firstly, thank you so much for this! I know it was a time-consuming task and I’m very grateful! It’s a great way to make your content so much more accessible for all of us! Kudos!! 👏🏻
Since you asked, may I make a small request? I’d love a list of your favorite craft books, as I grow my own library. I’m trying to keep a running list as you refer to them in your posts, but I’m afraid I’ve missed some. Whenever you have time, it would be greatly appreciated - I know you’re very busy at the moment! Happy revisioning!! And Billie is very busy as well. Love the beautiful mural you created for Z. May Z feel enveloped in your love while slumbering amongst the pines!
I found the “save” button just for this! And I love the headings and the way y’all organized it. The index fits the rest of the vibe here-- approachable, makes you see things in a different way even there, and another treasure hunt. Thanks! Well done!
Thank you both for putting this index together! I was losing a lot of time scrolling around looking for the challenge/step I wanted in the series I was working through and this is a lifesaver! I'm sure it was a lot of work for you so as a member/writer, just wanted to let you know that I really, really appreciate it!
Yay, we are so glad. The platform has us too often adrift as well, which is why we built this (and we will continue expanding it--it's a work in progress!).
Hello Jeannine and Billie: I gave an annual gift subscription some days ago to a friend, with this email, writer@louisawellness.com, but she said she has not received notification. Meanwhile, when I clicked on today's post of the Thursday Thread I get TWO copies of the post appearing on my desktop side by side! Does the system think I have subscribed twice, since I used my credit card on file? Could you help me rectify! Thank you! Amy
Love this so much - so helpful because I so often reference these and don't have the best system for finding them. This is brilliant! Thank y'all so much!!!
Maureen, we really hope it's helpful AND let us know if ever have suggestions (esp specific posts that you would like to see added under specific headings OR new headings you think would be useful!). This is a living document and will be continually updated and expanded.
Some Navigation Links, like "Most Popular Posts" or "Visceral Self" take you to a specific archive of posts that meet that definition--example, all the posts that are tagged Visceral Self. So, it's not our complete archive, it's a specific section of the archive that falls under that category. Again, hope this helps.
We have a LOT of content and have tried to organize it in the best ways we can within the limitations of what is possible on this platform. We're hoping to continue to improve that as Substack tools improve, as well!
Yes, just saw that and added another comment! Hopefully that clears things up, but let me know. The Subtitle Hyperlinks are navigation tools that take you to specific sections of the Index where in turn you should find the live links to specific posts. Please let me know if you still have any difficulty!
Hi, again, Claire--hmmm I just looked up your profile in our subscriber base and it looks like you are a paid subscriber, so you should be able to click on any link in this Index and access the full post. The first links are Subtitle Links, which take you to more complete sections with a fuller selection of links, and those are the ones that take you through to full posts. See if that makes sense?
I love this (so helpful!) - it speaks to my deep love of making lists and lists of lists to rein in the world.
Yay, I think it will be a really useful resource! But we do need to keep filling out the categories with more links ...
Wow! Someone went through a lot of work to save me time. Thank you @Jeannine Ouellette and @Billie Oh!

Hahahaha but there ARE more male-identified writers in the dark here. Maybe next time they'll come out!
Small issue: clicking on Decomposing didn't lead to the piece.
I love what you and Billie have done here. Thanks a million!
Thank you so much for pointing this out, Marlee! Fixed it!!

I really love this idea. We can work on that kind of a resource list for sure. Than you for this suggestion and for your wishes for Z.

Wow!!! This is fantastic! Thanks for collecting your teaching in one spot!!! I have saved this post for easy reference.
Wonderful. We plan to keep working on it!
Ty so much for creating and pinning this! Love it!
Excellent--and we've only just begun. It will get better and better and more usable as we work with it!

Yes, we were losing time ourselves that way! Super glad this is helpful, Martha!
This is fantastic! Thank you for providing a way to orient on a platform that often has me adrift (in a good way, but still). Ha!

Thanks for providing this stellar Substack. Truly inspiring.
Thank you, Mamie!!! We are glad you are here.

Amy, that's so weird. Can you send this via email to admin@elephantrockwriting.org and Billie can try to figure it out?
This is great! Thank you!
Wow wow wow! Way to go Billie!

Same haha 😂
Fabulous! This is why WITD is hugely popular and successful! Thanks Billie and Jeannie. XO

Thank you for this. I'm clicking on links but it only takes me to your archive list. Are you able to help?
The majority of our archive is paywalled, so if you are a free subscriber, that may be the issue?
Hello. I'm a paid subscriber

Ahh I see. Thank you. Your newsletter is brilliant btw

Or, if you are actually hitting paywalls, that's weird and should not be happening, so let me know that, too.
