No way!! Camp Wandawega is literally 20 minutes from my home! I’ve followed Tereasa and David’s projects on IG for years and have been so inspired by what they’ve created over there. I’ve always thought it would be a great place for a writing retreat but haven’t heard of anyone offering one until I saw your email in my inbox! I’d LOVE to attend, but it’s a big year of investing in my daughter’s food truck business she’s starting after she graduates high school in June. Do you think you’ll offer a retreat there again if all goes well?

Wowowow!! Yes, it is such a unique place and I’ve had my eye on it for years. If all goes well, we are highly likely to do it again ❤️

We are so excited. The combination of nature in this rustic, beautiful location, and the mindfulness-body-based approach, music, and writing is going to be, I think, more powerful than any other retreat I've led. There really is nothing quite like writing in nature.

Yes, The soul expands when it is freed by its environment. Looks like you have created a perfect place 🦋

This is the coolest, and I’m so excited for everyone who will choose to do this. I don’t think I can swing it this summer but I’m so grateful for how happy just the idea of it makes me, and I know I’ll get to “camp” soon.

Thank you, Mary! We’re excited too. And you never know what will unfold. Sometimes people sign on for things at the last minute. Meanwhile, either way, yes, we’ll all camp soon ❤️

"I about the power of a human hand—the lifetimes we hold between fingers and thumb. The sublime tenderness, the deadly wrath. I want to write about being fourteen and in love and crying all summer to Air Supply. I want to write about the terror of birth, the blood and beauty, the mysterious truth that being alive hovers so close to violence. I want to gather words like shells, like agates, like acorns, like sticks, and rub them against each other until they ignite and show me the world as it is, then paint the flames until I can see the ancient questions in my own heart and sing them, finally, out loud." This is gorgeous Jeannine! Can't wait to write with you at Camp Wandawega!

😲. This is the only thing in my life ever that has made me want to visit the USA.

AHHH! We have one writer so far coming from across the pond. We appreciate anyone's willingness to come to the US for any reason right now ... and maybe someday we will write with you in person, Sarah! xoxo

My youngest son (who is 35 😂) is in Nashville at the moment (only for a few weeks, working, he is a “sound guy”), and I can’t wait for him to be safely home!
